## Page: Custom Orders
**How it works**
1. Send us a request through our contact page with the engine, what you're bolting it to, and any measurements, photos, or drawings you have.
2. We'll review it and send a written quote with the price and estimated completion date.
3. To start work, approve the quote and pay a 50% deposit.
4. When your part is finished, we'll send photos and an invoice for the remaining 50%.
5. Once the balance is paid, we ship your order.
**Turnaround**
Custom work typically takes 2 to 3 months from approved quote and deposit to shipping. This is an estimate, not a guarantee; complex designs, material availability, and shop workload can affect timing. We'll keep you updated if anything changes.
**Deposits**
The 50% deposit covers design work and materials. If you cancel before we've started work on your order, we'll refund your deposit in full. Once design or fabrication has begun, the deposit is non-refundable.
**Final payment**
The remaining balance is due before your order ships. If the balance isn't paid within 90 days of our completion notice, we may treat the order as abandoned and keep the deposit.
**Accuracy**
Custom parts are built to the specifications in your approved quote. Please make sure the information you give us is accurate. If the finished part doesn't match the approved specifications, we'll fix or remake it at no charge. We can't be responsible for fitment problems caused by incorrect information, unlisted modifications to your engine or equipment, or changes made after the quote was approved.
**Returns**
Because custom parts are made for your specific application, they can't be returned or refunded except as described above.
